Trash Closet to Craft Closet

A few months ago, this is the pile I faced when feeling “inspired” to craft. Which was, well, uninspiring. After fighting to find things, and of course, knocking a container of thumb tacks all over the floor, I had had enough. This is the next project. Our “office” is a nightmare. I can’t think when it’s a disaster around me…. It was in need of some crafty TLC. So, did some searching online and on Pinterest. I found a few ideas that I molded into my own. Here’s the process. I am so pleased with it. I’m embracing the color yellow, which throughout my history I have hated. Only because I didn’t like how it looked on ME, but on my walls… brilliant! Loving the grey and yellow combination. Check out my latest post about the rest of the His&Her Office!

This was a great beginner project for me. I learned a lot… like, don’t mark your measurements with a sharpie. Make sure you have your exact plan before you whip out the saw and start cutting. Also, that Gorilla glue will never come off of your jeans. And the majority of the time, wood is not perfectly straight. Hope you enjoyed the process as much as I did!

Also, a big thanks to Roux for his lovely cameos. 🙂

Find it,
